Great interview. I was curious how the process of getting work would go and it seems you have a pretty firm grasp on how to handle it. I wish all the best of luck (not that you need it) and I hope you keep us up to date with your progress.

Tak -
I'm reading the interview now. I am emotionally confused, yet happy for you. Being a huge Japanese culture/pop-culture fan that I am I can't wait to see how this effects your work. Also, I hope that you keep contact with those of us that workship you artwork. I think what I'm trying to say is, don't ever forget about us goofy North American fans, and make sure you send us a translated transscipt of all your work from japan, cause you know we will still be importing it. ; )
Well sir, don't forget your friends in Texas.
- Sam
I should have written you more, I should have......jsut know that we have at least baught everything that you've done....

wow, this is 'happy for you but sad' news. Do keep in touch with us fans somehow or we will be crying and eating ice cream.

don - thanks, man. I'm sure there are other ways but applying to contests is the sure fire way I think. Don't worry, I'll keep this blog updated as I go.
q - knock on wood, man.
sam & hilee - Texaaaaaaaas!! lol. Hope you two are well. You shoulda come to San Diego! Thanks for keeping up with my work. The new MJ issue drops this week. I think we're gonna get some indirect sales due to the absence of Civil War. Mwahaha. I dunno if I'm worship worthy but I'll do my best for y'all. I said "y'all" for the first time EVER. That one's for you two. Keep in touch!

andre - y'know it, man. Gotta do the dream.
dustin - well, technically I'm not Japanese but Canadian. It's wierd though since when I hang out with J friends I feel more Canadian and when I hang with C friends I feel more Japanese. Can you say "conflicted"???
