Things are progressing quite well with work. I can't give too many details about it other than it's about ninjas in an alternate reality. A reality with nazis. Oh, yes. Mary Jane to Nazis. Talk about shifting gears. The first arc looks to be about 40 pages. I'm working with increments of 4 and 8 in order to make it easily printable and magazine friendly. Hey, any little bit counts, yo.

The breakdowns are almost done. It went through a few edits while I forced myself to draw and story tell from right to left. It was more challenging a task than I originally thought, btw. It's not just a matter of flipping everything but making sure it flows and keeps the eye active in the right direction. I can now say I'm comi-dextrous.

So, yeah. That's where I'm at after 4 months. I'm not sure whether that's good or bad but at least I'm not drunk in a rice patty somewhere. Although I did come close to it this weekend...

That sounds pretty interesting, Tak. You know what would be even better? A ninja Mary Jane killing Nazis. That would kick inmense amounts of ass...

Sweet drooling goodness. Ninjas and Nazis - does it get better than that? Now if I could magically learn how to read kanji.

Sweeet! Glad to see you back in the saddle again, bro. Can't wait to see more. How are the deadlines in Japan, in comparison to Marvel's?

Kudos, all. Alex - I dunno. I have no deadlines yet and everything thus far has been self-imposed. From what I hear, it's not all that different if you're working on a monthly.

I have some "art" on display at a comic illustrator art show downtown tonight. Should be fun. Good people. Good drinks. though I'll most likely constantly wondering the score of the Leaf game while I'm there...

Glad to have met you at SDCC by the way, I've loved your work for a while!
