I thought I'd mention some non-Marvel work I did a little while ago that is coming out soonish. I haven't even sent in my voucher for it yet. Crap. I should get on that...
Shojo Beat! Yes. Shojo Beat. They commissioned a trio of illustrations from me of their mascot Beat Girl in various poses and settings. I believe they will be in the next issue making it the June issue. I haven't seen it yet so if anyone picks it up, let me know how they turned out. Here's an underdrawing for one of them. It's fully coloured by yours truly as well but you'll have to pick up the mag to see how it turned out. Sucka!

I got my copy of the June Shojo Beat last night and noticed you'd done the illustrations. They came out well and are far less irritating than the usual 'beat girl' stuff.
Cutest Mary Jane ever! ^_^ This is just as great as the one where she plays the guitar.

Hey, man. I just saw the new Shojo Beat and thought I'd give ya a shout. Looks good - much better than the usual stuff. But she does kinda look like your MJ, though - haha.
For the record, I don't read Shojo Beat - I get it at the office with Shonen Jump (for some reason I felt the need to point that out).
