I haven't been around for a month you say? Quite right. Being busy would be too lame an excuse so I'll answer with I haven't been around. Like, for real! I feel outta practice with posting so, shit. I don't know where to start.

Well, first of all, I got my visa situation all sorted out in a win-win sort of way. It's not something I should be advertising on a public forum so let's just say I feel like Jason Bourne, yo. Talk about a relief...

Things on the work front have been slow. I'm currently playing a waiting game which doesn't really help me any so I've decided to take on some short work State-side to make the most of my time and for some much needed coin. So, you'll hopefully be seeing some new work from me next year in a limited fashion. I've been considering a few other routes to take but it all hinges on my next go here. Commissions are forthcoming as well. Sorry about the wait.

What else... Oh, I found this FF drink at a local convenience store the other day. It's sorta like the Evangelion amniotic fluid drink but it's called "potion" instead. There are about 20 different can designs to choose from and they go for roughly 2 bucks a pop. Pretty steep considering it's basically just cider. I suppose it's to please the nerd and sucker in all of us.

Hey Tak,

Good to know things are getting done and solved with your visa situation.

Aww.. don't be down bud, I am sure they must be planning on the projects they want to collaborate with you : ) I heard that editors there are even more involved in storytelling than ours here in the USA... way more involved even if it's creator owned... I heard you still have to make sure you and the editors agree on story direction... Which I am sure will kick@$$ when your project comes out! : )

Can't wait to see what you have for the US market also!

Hehe... I used to play FFxi online... man it takes so much time away... lol... worst enemy to when you need to keep a monthly book going... I haven't touch FF for like.. 4years already?.... I miss em....

Anyway, good to hear you still kickin'! Looking forward to those stuff you mentioned, do keep us posted.

Oh man. Part of me loves all the FF7 compilation junk they've been putting out, even though most of it is cringe worthy. The FF7:AC movie was cool, but everyone is really waiting for the game to get the next gen treatment on PS3. That would be huge.

anywhoo. hope things are well, dude!

Hey, what? I filled this out the other day, but it didn't get posted. I guess it didn't pass inspection or I pressed a wrong button. Anyway...

I've been tempted to e-mail you about my commission(s), but didn't want to bother you. You can't rush art!

I also picked up the newest Spider-Man Family and noticed the cover had a very familiar style and sure enough when I looked at the credits it was yours! Nice work. Are we going to get some kind of hints as to what you'll be working on next?

philip - thanks, man. I haven't played FF since 7, I think. There are so many incarnations now I can't keep track. It's all online now isn't it?

mike - I was looking for the blonde lead character but it seems to be at a premium. Couldn't find it anywhere...

adc - havne't seen the movie yet! man, I should get on that.

keef - I'm working on all the commissions at once so it's been taking a bit of time. Sorry, man.

There's a Marvel book I'll be most likely involved with as a one shot deal and I'm in talks with a smaller more lengthy project but I'm not sure about that one yet. I've got my fingers crossed!
