This is something I was working on earlier this year but felt it wasn't coming together so decided to ditch it. I liked the concept and a few stray ideas from it but, ultimately, it's not what I had in mind so it's done. It's set in a near-future-alt-universe which I always seem rely on like a crutch and I think that's pretty much what kept bothering me about it. I have something else in mind now so, uh, gonna keep chugging ahead. Anyway, you can check out my progress below. These are just rough sketches, btw, hence, the lack of backgrounds.

Crutch or not, some of those panels look pretty sweet. I really like the shot of the girl shooting the rifle.

I was wondering how large these were drawn and what did you draw them with?

I dont care if it is the futuristic style, it is cool. Your character consistency I admirer so much and you make it look so easy. Dont ditch this one.

Damn. Actually I'd imagine those pages would look sleek inked and put in takubon (or however you spell it) format. Shame you're abandoning it. Nice crazy powers and designs, although the cop looks like Toshi from BFX2.

I think every creative has a crutch, sometimes mistaken as style. But these look great as usual. nice sense of pacing and panelling.
