So, I'm almost finished with a large chunk of work. It's always rather anti-climactic after these intensive and furious work weeks and I'm always left with mixed feelings of joy and melancholy. Like you've just ran your heart out and unsure what to do next? Well, I have more pages to draw for something else so that's a null theory but, uh, whatever. You get the point.
I usually do some cleaning after an issue and since today is recycle day for me I decided to organize and sort my papers and plastics that have built up for the past few weeks. They're pretty strict about how things are sorted and disposed of here. I have a colourfully illustrated flyer for how plastic bottles should be cleaned and crushed, while papers should be sorted between cardboard, regular paper and hard bristol type stuff. Not to mention how glass bottles should have their labels peeled off and metal caps removed and seperated. It all sounds pretty bothersome compared to the blue bin dumping I'm used to in Canada but I find it to be a rather soothing process. Deconstructing a big pile of crap into neatly tied and organized bundles tickles my usual disorganized self. It's... cathartic.
Gonna do fun things today. It's raining and a typhoon is nudging ever closer but, meh. I feel like spending money and taking pictures for some reason.

Oh I thought your subject meant somethin cool like "Time to take out the trash..." then beatin up some dudes.
My recyclables sit on my back porch for weeks. if i had to do all that it would be months. BTW, i have been following your art and the web page for like 3 years and this is my first comment. Your art for the first Mary Jane got me to buy my first comic and now it snowballed into dozens a month. thanks!!! I miss seeing you in a monthly tho i must say, but forever a fan!
tu - make love not war!
tim - oh great. I'm responsible for starting your comic addiction? At least it's something healthy ;) Thanks for posting, btw. Yeah, no monthly for the time-being but hopefully I find something regular soon.
dude. I rarely recycle. I find it such a chore the way my building is set up. So everything goes into a plastic bag, and down the hatch. (of the building)
I see this as leverage for my lack of other activities detrimental to the environment. I figure I can pollute via not recycling, since I don't drive...
it makes sense in my head!
