Bought a new TV! It's an AQUOS 32" and it's awesome! I got all the wires required to hook up my computer to it today so, from now, on I'll be watching all movies and tv shows lying down. The picture quality is freakin' amazing. I can see lint on the newscaster's suit and ass-zits on sumo wrestlers. I broke my 1 grand limit by a little bit but it was worth it. I was comparing prices with backhome and I'm not sure why but tv's here are about double the price. Dunno why. Oh well...

HOw does shows that are not hi-res look on it ? pixelated ? how about fast pacing scenes ? ghost effect ?
Going HD is eye-opening to say the least. Everything from gaming to golf looks gorgeous. I can't wait until the Blu-Ray releases of Battlestar Galactica, as my life will finally be complete.
anon- I can switch from regular to high-rez shows and the old cable programs look grainy and are 4x3 on my widescreen so not very nice to look at. no ghost effects or anything tho.
wes- yeah, HD is really nice. Thinkin about getting a PS3 in order to get a BluRay player too. Ohhh man...
