Takeshi Miyazawa was born in Toronto, Canada and studied art at Queen’s University.  Since graduating, he’s been moving around every couple of years to places like Vancouver and Tokyo but hates the physical moving aspect of this habit although it helps keep the amount of crap he hoards under check.  He recently parted ways with video games and doesn’t own any consoles.  Instead, he plays an unhealthy amount of FreeCell on his computer.  He’s been hooked on horror comics lately and relishes that cold tingle you get up your spine.

He has been drawing comics as a profession since 2003 and his work credits include Sidekicks through Oni Press, short strips for NYLON and SPIN Magazine, a short story in X-Men Unlimited #42, a short story in Spiderman Unlimited #1, Uncanny X-Men #434, Runaways #11 and #12, Mary Jane #1-4 plus Robotech: Invasion #1-5 from DC/Wildstorm.   He is most widely known for his run as the original penciller for Marvel's Spider-man Loves Mary Jane all-ages comic series.
